She is certified in both child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. She was a faculty member in Istanbul School of Medicine between1994 -2013. She had several responsibilities in Istanbul School of Medicine in doctoral and residency training programs, conducting numerous research projects and chairing the department. Now, she continues her academic and clinical work in Istanbul Institute of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

In 2017 she accepted the invitation of Ministry of Health of Turkey In organization   an awareness program for autism. So she  educated hundreds of Child Psychiatrists for training of 21, 000 family doctors for  early identification of autism .

Her main interest areas are   Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Asperger disorder , Autism, Learning disorders , Tic disorders , Language disorders and  Developmental Delay.
